It’s been a while since I last saw Bradford rockers TALK TO ANGELS. Besides their delightful rehearsal space show they did (see video below), it may well have been at the Library when they did Live At Leeds in their jim-jams last year…
Couldn’t have been that long ago, surely? Anyhoo, they’re back with a bit of a line-up change, and some new tunes – one of which is previewed in their creepy-as-hell video to plug their upcoming show:
It’s called Lead Balloon and it’s a doozy.
I don’t half like this band. They’re a great bunch of guys and their music is epic. Still looking forward to their debut album getting released as their demos have got themselves nice and comfy on my iPod.
Anyway, they’re playing at the Library in Leeds tomorrow night, headlining the latest 360 Club offering. Joining them are BALLYHOO/EVENTIDE, SECRETS OF KAPLAN and BENEATH THE HEADLIGHTS – not too shabby a line-up, that.
Get yourselves along to the Library on Woodhouse Lane from about 8ish. It’s a mere £4.50 in. If you’re in town today or tomorrow, pick a ticket up from Jumbo Records.
See ya there!
Oh yeah, here’s a video of TTA’s session at Soundworks Studios late last year. There I am looking dead handsome and that:
