Blue Roses scores silent classic

The utterly delightful BLUE ROSES aka Laura Groves from Shipley near Bradford is set for a show with a difference in March, which she hinted about on her Facebook page last weekend…

Laura’s just announced today on Facebook and via Twitter that she’s to perform a live score to the silent classic horror Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde at the BFI in London on Wednesday, March 9 as part of the Birds Eye View film festival.

What a brilliant show that will be – a haunting blend of Blue Roses’ whistful melodies and an iconic good-versus-evil tale. If you’re in London on the night, it would be well worth a visit.

Check out some of Blue Roses’ music HERE and read more about the Birds Eye View festival and Laura’s Bloody Women performance HERE.

We’ll try and catch Laura for a chat about the show soon!
