Flight Of The Conchords are winging their way to Leeds

It’s been over seven years since your fourth-favourite New Zealand guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-gangsta-rap-funk-folk comedy duo were last in the UK, but Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie will be bringing their FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS show to arenas around the country next spring.

Flight of the Conchords

The Flight Of The Conchords Sing Flight Of The Conchords Tour will feature all the duo’s classic hits such as Business Time, I’m Not Crying, Robots and, of course, Hiphopopotamus Vs Rhymenoceros. It will also showcase new material. SOLD.

The tour will kick off with two nights at London’s Eventim Apollo on March 19 and 20, before travelling the country – including their Leeds debut at the first direct arena.

Monday, March 19 – Eventim Apollo, London
Tuesday, March 20 – Eventim Apollo, London
Thursday, March 22 – Birmingham Genting Arena
Friday, March 23 – Manchester Arena
Sunday, March 25 – 3Arena, Dublin
Monday, March 26 – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
Tuesday, March 27 – Leeds First Direct Arena
Thursday, March 29 – The O2 Arena, London
Sunday, April 1 – Echo Arena, Liverpool

The duo regrouped after they both found fame and fortune on the big screen. McKenzie won an actual Oscar for his songs on the Muppets film, while Clement co-directed vampire comedy What We Do In The Shadows with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.

But we all know and love the pair – and their hapless manager Murray – from the US TV show Flight Of The Conchords, which made them a pretty big deal a decade ago.

Tickets for the The Flight Of The Conchords Sing Flight Of The Conchords Tour go on sale this Friday (October 27) at 10am. Head over to their website for more info and keep your eyes peeled for pre-sales on Wednesday.
