Frank Turner announces two Yorkshire shows

Triumphant after a huge sell-out Wembley Arena show at the weekend (Wembley frikkin’ Arena! 12,000 fans!), the mighty FRANK TURNER has announced a huge UK tour later in the year, returning to Yorkshire for two shows – ah, it’s been a while…

Last seen at the Brudenell Social Club with his Sleeping Souls last May, Frank will be winging his way to O2 Academy Leeds on Monday, November 12 and O2 Academy Sheffield the following Monday, November 19.

The man never stops. He’s off to Canada this week, then on to Australia, a quick return visit to Toronto, and then the festival season hits and he’s up to his eyes in outdoor appearances until the end of August. God love him, I don’t know how he does it – fuck Duracell, the man’s powered by rock n roll.

Tickets for his Academy shows go on sale on Wednesday, April 18, (I think via his website) and then general release on Friday, April 20 from HERE and HERE.

Crash and Jumbo will have some for sale too.

Speaking of which, Frank is releasing a massively-limited edition of I Still Believe/Somebody To Love (Queen cover) on delicious coloured vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day this Saturday. A copy may or may not appear in Crash or Jumbo’s special stock.

Get yourselves to either store on Saturday and pick up some fantastic vinyl. Check out what’s on offer HERE
