INTRODUCING >> Centre Stage 2013 finalist: The Puppeteers

Otley foursome THE PUPPETEERS can forever be proud of the fact that they were the first-ever band to play at the new 13,500-capacity first direct arena in Leeds. Yeah, well before The Boss turns up later this month. Been there, done that, Bruce. Now they’re hoping to continue their success in the CENTRE STAGE 2013 finals next Wednesday and head to Leeds Festival.

The band’s fundraising has been going from strength to strength since the heats, and raised £500 from a show at Otley Courthouse, organised by their ever-helpful teacher Chris Smith, a keen supporter of Centre Stage and Martin House.

They’re about to release their new EP Hurricane, proceeds of which will also be going to Martin House. Nice work! Bit of an update, the EP came out tonight. Have a listen >>

>> THE PUPPETEERS are in the Centre Stage 2013 finals, along with ten other acts, at the O2 Academy Leeds on Wednesday, July 17. Tickets (£6.50/£4.50 NUS) are available HERE.
