Leeds grunge-rockers BROODERS are back with an ace new tune after tearing up Humber Street Sesh in Hull last weekend.
Resurface a wonderfully twisted affair, with warped heads-down riffs and gnarly vocals. Underneath the cacophony of guitars and crashing cymbals there are melodies bursting out, but it’s all about the savagery of the tune’s second half – a rolling, thunderous riff takes charge and it’s glorious. Check it out below:
Of Resurface, singer Adam Bairstow says: “It’s a song that really speaks about the desire to look beyond the superficial and break out of the bonds of the expected in all walks of life; it portrays visions of drowning under the weight of the mental stress that can flood you subconsciously”.
Resurface is out now. Go find it on the usual streaming services.
