Live At Leeds 2018 – first wave of acts announced

It seems like an age away, but the May Day bank holiday weekend will come round fast enough. And with the initial line-up for LIVE AT LEEDS 2018 just announced, it can’t come quick enough.

The Horrors - Live At Leeds 2018

Sitting pretty at the top of the poster for the cross-town festival on Saturday, May 5 are big-hitters CIRCA WAVES, PEACE, THE HORRORS and BRITISH SEA POWER.

Among the other 40-odd acts announced are a stack of BBC Sound of 2018 long-listers – the awesome PALE WAVES, TOM WALKER, LEWIS CAPALDI and SAM FENDER.

Also on the bill are ANTEROS, BLAENAVON, SPRING KING, WILL HEARD and former Kaiser Chiefs drummer NICK JD HODGSON, who’ll be playing tunes from his debut album Tell You Friends.

Check out the all the first names – with plenty more still to come, obviously, below:

Nick JD Hodgson said: “I went to Live At Leeds last year and I’d only just started recording my solo stuff so to be playing it 12 months later is an unexpected buzz. Being from Leeds I’m excited to be playing a hometown show, too.”

Tickets are on sale now at for just £36. Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements in the new year.
