Marsicans to headline BBC Introducing Stage at Leeds Festival next month

Leeds’ coolest indie-pop kids MARSICANS have just been announced as headliners of the BBC Introducing Stage along with a load more new names for the Leeds Festival bill.

The band have already had a pretty special summer, having been invited to support Foals in Germany, followed by the four-piece’s first stadium show, no less, supporting Kaiser Chiefs at Elland Road’s special anniversary event.

We’re stoked to see them getting to play the size of stages they deserve, having followed them from their very humble beginnings – and this headline announcement is testament to the constant hard work, passion and focus they’ve had over the past eight years or so (anyone remember The Scandals?!).

Check out Little Things – the latest single from Marsicans – below. It’s a proper summer banger >>
