The trio, who have headlined the festival in 2011 and 2006, have become one of the UK’s leading live acts and spent the first half of this year playing festivals and arenas around Europe as they finished off their massive Drones world tour.

Also heading back to the twin-site festival over the bank holiday weekend next August are BASTILLE, MAJOR LAZER, ARCHITECTS, WHILE SHE SLEEPS and reformed-then-split-up-then-reformed-again alt-rockers AT THE DRIVE-IN.

Joining them will be Detroit hip-hop hero DANNY BROWN, TORY LANEZ, AGAINST THE CURRENT, ANDY C and Oxford alt-pop outfit GLASS ANIMALS.

Tickets are on sale now from leedsfestival.com. They’re £205 for the weekend, and there’s an instalment plan available now with an initial payment of £50 to help spread the cost.
