Bingley rockers MARMOZETS have just announced details of their highly-anticipated debut album.

marmozets_albumThe brilliantly-titled ‘The Weird And Wonderful Marmozets’ is out on September 29 on Roadrunner Records and features the singles Move, Shake, Hide, Why Do You Hate Me?, Captivate You and upcoming single Born Young And Free (out October 6).

The album has been recorded with Larry Hibbert of Hundred Reasons, and will see siblings Becca, Sam and Josh Macintyre and Jack and Will Bottomley tear through 13 driving tunes (not driving tunes, though that depends on your mood, I guess).

The five-piece will be taking the tunes on the road in October, on a co-headline tour with LONELY THE BRAVE, ably supported by Castleton troublemakers ALLUSONDRUGS. Dates are >>

Before all that, though, the band are back on home soil after a great Vans Warped Tour across America, as they play at Leeds Festival. Twice. On Sunday, August 24 (and Reading Festival the previous day), Marmozets will take to The Pit stage after playing the NME/Radio 1 Stage.

The band were keen to include a big homecoming show on their headline tour to promote their album, but the nearest gig will be Sheffield. Wonder if there will be something special lined up for Leeds soon enough..?
