Noel Gallagher to headline Bingley Music Live 2018

BINGLEY MUSIC LIVE has confirmed their biggest line-up to date with NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS, SHED SEVEN and JAKE BUGG headlining the festival’s 11th year over the weekend of 31 August to 2 September.

The former Oasis star will bring his latest tunes from Who Built The Moon, as well as some iconic Oasis hits to Myrtle Park. Whether he brings along a pair of scissors with him is another thing.

Also topping the BML bill will be York indie heroes SHED SEVEN who are back with new material, having released Instant Pleasures last November – their first in 15 years. Expect a good dose of Britpop classics from this lot.

The third headliner is Nottingham troubadour JAKE BUGG, who first played Bingley Music Live back in 2012 on the Discovery Stage. Since then, the 24-year-old has gone on to be a pretty big deal, touring the world at bigger and bigger venues, more recently taking to more intimate surroundings for his one-man acoustic tour.

Also on the bill are Bingley rockers MARMOZETS. The five-piece are back in business with new album Knowing What You Know Now, after the bands rise to rock stardom stalled when singer Becca sustained a pretty mean knee injury.

Having the time to take stock and reflect on the world around them, Marmozets seem much more focused and vital. This will be one hell of a homecoming show.

Fellow Yorkshire noisemakers THE CRIBS will be back in Bingley this summer. You cannot go wrong with a Cribs festival show. All the hits, all the riffs, all the chaos, and all the airborne beers.

And old school indie meets the new breed at BML as RIDE and GOMEZ share the line-up with RATBOY and PEACE, while the butter-loving rotter himself John Lydon returns to the festival with PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.

Tickets for Bingley Music Live 2018 are on sale now. Weekend tickets are £75 and will also be available through a budget-busting instalment payment plan. Phase two tickets will begin on Thursday 26th April at 5pm, at which point prices will rise to £85.
