It’s been a while since Preston and pals were last in the city, but later this month THE ORDINARY BOYS return to Leeds for an intimate show at The Library’s Lending Room.
The band, who had to pull out of their headlining slot at Bingley Music Live this weekend as frontman Preston is still recovering from a head trauma (he’s on the mend, though), released their fourth album late last year, produced by Hookworms’ MJ.
Joined by Spectrals guitarist Louis Jones (who Preston met at a Cribs show), The Ordinary Boys hit upon a driving sound which marks a true return to their punk roots. Read our review of the self-titled album HERE.

With some solid ska-fused indie-rock anthems spanning over a decade, expect plenty of their classics like Boys Will Be Boys, Week In Week Out and Talk Talk Talk.
Joining them will be brassed-up indie-punk upstarts BENSON.
The show at the Lending Room, upstairs at the Library on Leeds is on Sunday, September 25. Tickets are £10 and available HERE.
