The Mexanines announce Cockpit show

Ahead of their UK tour with THE PIGEON DETECTIVES, Halifax/all over the place six-piece THE MEXANINES have just announced a special show at the Cockpit in Leeds next month.

It will be their first big gig to showcase their all-new bigger, better sound – which is pretty fucking special, I can tell you. We featured their new tune Wonderland a few weeks back. It’s ace >>

But there are stacks more guitar-pop anthems, with sexy sax breaks aplenty to get your ears round, so it’ll be worth heading to the Cockpit on Friday, September 27, which sounds like it’s ages away, but it’s not really.

The band will be joined by ST SOMEBODY, which features singer James’s younger brother Rob. That’s nice, isn’t it?

If you’re unaware of St Somebody, you’ve not been paying attention, have you? Shame on you. Put that right by watching this video for new single, Insecure. It’s good >>

As usual, the lads like to get out and about, meeting their fans, and will be providing a special Mexanines Ticket Delivery Service. I reckon the drops will run a lot quicker now there’s six of ’em…

>> Tickets will be available from Monday. For more information, click HERE.
