Hot on the heels of their Reading and Leeds headline slot news, Manchester indie-pop lot THE 1975 have shared the video for their latest single Sincerity Is Scary, taken from their forthcoming new album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, out next Friday.

The video opens with singer Matty Healy waking up and leaving his home – number 1975, no less. Popping on a pair of headphones (and an almost-Where The Wild Things Are rabbit-eared hat), he mixes up the best moves by Michael Jackson and Gene Kelly as he grooves down the street, catching up with pal NO ROME and rescuing bassist Ross from a falling piano along the way.

It’s a wonderfully slick accompaniment to the skewered jazz-soul vibes Sincerity Is Scary dishes out, all retro pastel hues and smooth choreography.

A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is out on November 30. The bands are heading out on a UK arena tour early next year. Find out more here.
