On The Road follows the band on their 17-date tour of the UK in March, taking in all the magical – and mundane – moments backstage and on stage from the perspective of one of the tour’s crew members.

“It is a refreshingly unusual one with unexpected twists; it reveals the relentless, sometimes unglamorous graft of playing live, night after night. But the film also mesmerises, offering a structure that reveals more, at every stop on the road,” says the publicity blurb.

The film will premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday, October 9 at the BFI Southbank in London.

Ahead of the screening, the Mercury-nominated band will be appearing at the inaugural OnRoundhay festival at Roundhay Park in Leeds with JAMES, PRIMAL SCREAM and more.

The festival will see live music return to the park for the first time in over a decade, and will also include plenty of family entertainment and food stalls alongside a day of live music.

Tickets are still available for OnRoundhay, priced £45 for an adult (13+), £100 for a family pass (2 adults and two children 13-16), while children 12 and under go free. Get yours from the OnRoundhay site or in store at Crash and Jumbo in the city centre.
